Soup, Glorious Soup!

Soup is a staple on our menu and much loved by so many who visit our community lunches. So when our beloved industrial blender gave up one tiring Wednesday afternoon, we knew we needed to replace it quickly.

That’s where Square Mile Farms came in! Upon hearing the bad news, they immediately offered to purchase Nourish Hub a brand-new blender, ensuring we could continue serving our much-loved soups at our community lunches and suppers.

For a few days, we enjoyed some heartier soups like minestrone and chunky vegetable, but nothing beats a smooth and silky tomato soup made with locally grown tomatoes from West Sussex!

Square Mile Farms have been friends of Nourish Hub since we opened in 2022. They not only provide the seedlings that make our meals better, but also support us with their generosity and kindness, having donated their time volunteering in the kitchen with the chefs and community volunteers. We’ve been lucky enough recently to receive fortnightly delivery of leafy greens and herbs harvested for the po-up farm in Westfield, ensuring that none of their produce goes to waste.

Thank you, Square Mile Farms — your support means the world to us (and to all our soup lovers) and we love to see how you continue to grow more and more nutritious food within offices and community spaces!

At Nourish Hub, we believe good food is just the beginning. It’s a route to better health, stronger community ties, and a sense of belonging.
