We’ve launched our Shared Reading sessions  – interactive gatherings where participants read literature aloud together, fostering connection, discussion and reflection. The sessions take place every Friday, 11:00-12:00 and are led by our volunteers and The Reader shared reader leaders, Sharon and Bud. Everyone is welcome to come along to read along, or

simply listen if they prefer. Watch the video on our social media channels to learn more or click here to sign up Shared Reading Tickets, Fri 27 Jun 2025 at 11:00 | Eventbrite Walk-ins welcome too!

Meet the author

Our monthly book club will be hosting a very special guest on 11th July, Sade Adeniran, author of “Imagine this”. Sade is not only a passionate member of our volunteer team, but also a talented writer whose debut novel won the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best first Book in Africa. A fantastic opportunity to hear directly from the author, ask your questions and learn about her journey as both a writer and a creative changemaker. Signed books will be available to purchase on the day.

Whether you’ve read the book or are just curious, we’d love for you to join us for this inspiring session, Friday 11th July at 10:00.
