Job Title: Food Partnership Coordinator  

Responsible to: Nourish Hub Manager 

Location: Nourish Hub, Shepherds Bush, W11 4SS  

Salary: £35,000 p/a pro-rata 

Working pattern:  15 hours per week (2 days) 

Job Background: 
Hammersmith and Fulham’s Food For All Partnership (previous called Food Strategy Group) aims to support a borough where everyone has the opportunity to eat healthy sustainable food.  It brings together cross sector partners, including the Nourish Hub, Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank and LBHF Council to develop and champion systems approaches to food. 

The Partnership Coordinator will develop the partnership, working closely with community food projects across the borough. They will be committed to delivering positive change for residents and will have the skills to lead effective partnership work whilst also supporting others to lead and take ownership.  

Nourish Hub Background:

Nourish Hub, on the Edward Woods Estate in Hammersmith and Fulham, is a vibrant community space created through funding through the Mayor of London’s Good Growth initiative and London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Delivered by UKHarvest, a national food rescue and education charity, the Hub uses food as a catalyst for positive change. 
We offer an affordable daily Community Lunch, a locally-focused Education and Learning Programme, and a thriving Volunteer Programme that helps build skills and community capacity. By rescuing surplus food and transforming it into opportunities, we empower individuals and support a more inclusive, sustainable community. Working in partnership with local people, public services, and organisations, Nourish Hub promotes nutrition, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability, all to improve lives and inspire positive social action. 

Key Responsibilities: 

The Partnership Coordinator will build, develop and support an effective network of individuals and organisations under the banner of the Food for All Partnership. Developing priorities and delivering actions that support residents access to healthy sustainable food. They will be a self-driven and proactive person. This is very much a community based role and expect the successful candidate to be confident in communicating with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds 

Ideal Candidate: 

Partnership Coordination 

  • Schedule and facilitate partnership and working group meetings. 
  • Co-produce meeting agendas in collaboration with the Chairs. 
  • Collate and circulate meeting minutes and action points. 
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among partners. 

 

Governance and Reporting 

  • Attend steering group meetings and record minutes. 
  • Support working group leads to report progress back to the steering group. 
  • Support monitoring, impact tracking, and preparation of reports to funders and stakeholders. 

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Lead on building and maintaining relationships with existing and new partners. 
  • Ensure clear and regular communication with stakeholders across the network. 

 

Communications 

  • Collate content for newsletters and maintain website updates (with support from partners). 
  • Coordinate communications within the partnership, potentially through a shared rota. 

 

External Networks and Representation 

  • Engage with relevant national and regional networks, including: 
  • Sustainable Food Places 
  • London Food Partnership/Food Roots legacy network  
  • Feeding Britain and other relevant forums
