Salary: £35,000 pro rata
Working pattern: 22.3 hours per week (3 days per week)

Job Background:
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Fundraising and Impact Officer to help secure funding and demonstrate the measurable difference Nourish Hub makes. This role will lead on corporate partnerships and trust and grant fundraising while developing our capacity to track, evaluate, and report our social and environmental impact. You will play a vital role in ensuring we have the financial support and evidence base needed to grow and sustain our work.
Nourish Hub Background:
Nourish Hub, on the Edward Woods Estate in Hammersmith and Fulham, is a vibrant community space created through funding through the Mayor of London’s Good Growth initiative and London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Delivered by UKHarvest, a national food rescue and education charity, the Hub uses food as a catalyst for positive change.
We offer an affordable daily Community Lunch, a locally-focused Education and Learning Programme, and a thriving Volunteer Programme that helps build skills and community capacity. By rescuing surplus food and transforming it into opportunities, we empower individuals and support a more inclusive, sustainable community. Working in partnership with local people, public services, and organisations, Nourish Hub promotes nutrition, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability, all to improve lives and inspire positive social action.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising:
- Write compelling funding bids and reports to trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
- Identify and research new funding opportunities aligned with Nourish Hub’s mission.
- Lead or support community fundraising campaigns and seasonal appeals.
- Develop relationship with corporate partners aligned with Nourish Hub’s mission.
- Steward supporters and donors — ensuring they feel thanked, engaged, and inspired.
- Support income-generation services (e.g. catering, venue hire) with communications and promotion.
- Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity, income, and reporting deadlines.
Impact and Evaluation:
- Develop and manage tools and processes to monitor project outputs and outcomes across Nourish Hub programmes.
- Work closely with the team to gather data, feedback, and stories that demonstrate impact.
- Analyse and present impact data in accessible ways for use in reports, stakeholder briefings, and funding bids.
- Maintain a database of evidence, testimonials, and case studies.
- Support continuous learning and improvement by sharing impact insights with staff, volunteers, and partners.
- Help communicate our impact and evaluation findings externally, in ways that support fundraising efforts and strengthen fundraising also.
- Contribute strategic planning and reporting for UKHarvest and key partners (e.g. Hammersmith & Fulham Council).
Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Experience in fundraising (corporate fundraising, trusts & foundations, community fundraising or individual giving).
- Strong written communication and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Confident using digital tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, online forms/surveys (e.g. Google Forms).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a community-first mindset.
- A commitment to Nourish Hub’s values of inclusion, equity, and sustainability.
Desirable:
- Experience working in a community or social impact setting.
- Familiarity with outcome frameworks and social impact measurement.
- Understanding of food justice, public health, or environmental sustainability issues.
- Experience using CRM or impact-tracking software.
